Indefinite Power Backup
Our servers are protected by high-end managed Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) battery power backups. This means that, in case of power outage, our UPS battery backups can sustain our network for much longer that is needed for our generator to become activated. Moreover, our generator utilizes a constant supply of natural gas which can supply power indefinitely.
One-of-a-kind Backup and Disaster Recovery Technology
We use a unique multi-terabyte hard drive backup solution, which is faster and more reliable than the magnetic tape-based systems usually used. It allows us to restore a server in the event of a complete crash in a little as an hour.
We perform backups daily in a completely isolated Gigabit network and maintain a secure off-site storage facility.
Our servers runs a redundant SCSI RAID configuration, which gives a maximum efficiency and reliability with a failsafe server crash fallback.
Extremely Fast Gigabit Ethernet Network
Our hosting has a high speed upstream and Gigabit Ethernet network. This new technology exceeds the requirements of most internal networks. Our internal network is directly connected to a 17 MBPS external fiber connection with multiple points of access, which allows us to serve up web sites with as much throughput and as little latency as possible, giving a lightning fast connection accessible from anywhere around the globe.
Highest Security
Our internal network uses IP's that are not accessible from the Internet, offering the highest security.
Our hosting uses a technology called LVS on Custom Firewalls/Routers to provide both our Firewalls/Routers and out network with redundancy, fault-tolerance, load balancing, packet filtering and port block services. This means that our Firewalls/Routers share the load between them appropriately, and if one server crashes, the others are able to instantly and transparently take its place.
The LVC technology also allows our servers to be temporarily disconnected from the pool for downtime-free maintenance and upgrades, which gives the best reliability, network performance and protection.
Advanced 24x7 Monitoring
Our hosting uses a product called Nagios to provide state-of-the-art 24-hour-monitoring to all servers and entire network. This provides automatic notifications, alerts and statistics, which allows us to instantly and automatically correct most problems.
Our unique system can instantly detect network failures, including all service and server outages, problems with UPSes, generators, and power management systems, and reach our hosting staff, 24/7 using a combination of SMS paging.
Over 300 advanced test clients (on Windows servers alone) monitor more precise metrics such as CPU usage, RAM usage, etc.
State-of-the-Art Email System
We use a state-of-the-art mail system which includes new features such as SPAM scanning, Virus scanning, IMAP, auto responders, aliases, always-BCC, "Catch-all" accounts, and much more. It runs on isolated Gigabit Network for highest security and speed. |
